WebCallBack, an online marketing tool that e-commerce venues place on their sites, recently signed on another client,WebPromote. This increases WebCallBack’s client-base to more than 50. Internet marketers and e-tailers use WebCallBack’s device on their sites, for online shoppers who are queasy about placing their credit card information on the web.
With WebCallBack, online shoppers can click on WebCallBack’s icon and type in their phone number. Within 10 seconds, a customer service representative from WebCallBack calls the online shopper, who then releases their credit card information to an actual human being. This concept showcases the convergence between the telephone and the Internet, in which users access the phone via the Internet.
